Scarlett Schremmer Wins Miami Debut at Boilermaker Classic

Scarlett Schremmer had not played a college golf event in nearly a year. Her first start for Miami produced her first collegiate win.

The sophomore, who played two events at Texas A&M as a freshman before transferring to Coral Gables, closed with a 5-under 67 on Tuesday at Kampen-Cosler Golf Course in Indiana to claim medalist honors at the Boilermaker Classic, finishing at 6-under 210, a shot ahead of Ole Miss' Lisa Herman. It is her first win since transferring, and it came in her Miami debut.

Schremmer made the turn 4 under before a bogey on the par-4 15th. She answered with back-to-back birdies on 16 and 17, then closed with a par to secure the title.

How did Miami win the team title?

Teammate Olivia Gronborg, a fifth-year who redshirted last season after not competing, matched Schremmer's 67 to move up 12 spots and tie for third at 2 under. Freshman Bella Dovhey finished solo eighth. The trio carried Miami to a five-shot win over Ole Miss for the team title, with Mississippi State, Purdue and North Florida rounding out the top five.

Schremmer's win adds to a strong 2026 for the former five-star recruit, who has also won the Ladies NGA Amateur and the Women's Southern Amateur this year, titles that helped her claim the Women's Elite Amateur Series Cup.
