True Spec Golf has agreed to a multi-year partnership with the Arizona State men's golf program for the 2026-27 season, pairing free custom club fitting for the roster with a direct NIL contribution to players.

What does the True Spec deal include?

True Spec, a custom club fitting and club building company founded in Scottsdale in 2014, will give every Sun Devil ongoing fitting services throughout the season, including loft and lie tune-ups, gap analysis and regripping. The company will also make what it calls a substantial NIL contribution, with funds going directly to compensate the participating student-athletes.

Arizona State head coach Matt Thurmond said the support helps a program that competes for top recruits every year. True Spec president Scott Anderson said the Scottsdale-based company wanted to invest in a local program it considers an extension of its own team.
