Vokey Wedges Won 21 Times on PGA Tour, Led by New SM11

Titleist's Vokey wedges were both the most-played and the most-winning wedges on the PGA Tour in 2026, picking up 21 victories combined across their current and prior models while accounting for 52% of all gap, sand and lob wedges in tour bags.

Which wedge model won the most?

The new Vokey SM11, released in January, led every individual model with 11 wins. Cameron Young put the SM11 in the winner's circle first, followed by Ricky Castillo, Alex Fitzpatrick and Wyndham Clark. Aaron Rai then won a major with the wedge, and Russell Henley, Bud Cauley, Jackson Koivun and Michael Brennan added victories over the summer. Clark's win at the BMW Championship, his third of the season, was the SM11's 11th.

The now-secondary Vokey SM10 was still good for six wins, three of them from Matt Fitzpatrick, with Justin Rose, J.T. Poston and Tom Kim also winning with it earlier in the season.

How did other brands compare?

TaylorMade's new MG5 recorded seven wins in its first year, including victories for staffers Rory McIlroy, Collin Morikawa, Jacob Bridgeman and Michael Thorbjornsen, plus three wins from free agent Chris Gotterup.

Cleveland's RTZ wedges won four times: full-set victories for Nico Echavarria and Brandt Snedeker, Ryan Fox's Open Championship win, and a prototype RTZ Offset lob wedge win for Gary Woodland. Snedeker and Woodland played the wedges without a contract. Scottie Scheffler won three times on a Vokey SM8 from 2021, switching lob wedges partway through the season, and Callaway's Opus SP line won twice through Akshay Bhatia and Stefano Mazzoli.

One wedge brand still supplies more than half the wedges in play on the PGA Tour.

Grind choice varied even among winners on the same model: Clark's SM11 was an L-Grind, Young's a K*, and Henley won with a Tour Kingpin T-Grind. TaylorMade's most common MG5 grind among winners was the LB, though Morikawa used the TW-grind and Thorbjornsen the SC.
